Our Founder
Dylan Lewis, MA, RPA, and CEO at Atlas Archaeology LLC™, specializes in Northeast Archaeology and lithic technology. Dylan is a graduate from the CUNY Hunter Master in Anthropology program. His thesis analyzed a multi-phase pre-contact site in Kingston, New York. Dylan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from SUNY New Paltz, where he focused his studies on Biological Anthropology, Archaeology and Evolutionary Studies.
Dylan has over ten years of professional experience working in cultural resource management.
Vice President
Ally Piquero-Lewis, MBA, is the Vice President at Atlas Archaeology LLC™. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Empire State College and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from SUNY New Paltz. Ally is the company’s graphic designer and works with Dylan to create technical and scientific report graphics to intelligently display the information from work sites.
Who We Are
Atlas Archaeology LLC™is a cultural resource management and archaeological consulting service based in Pine Bush, New York. We satisfy all requirements outlined within Section 106 of the Environmental Review and Historic Preservation Act needed to complete building projects. Our services include Phases 1A/1B, II, and III cultural resource surveys, laboratory analysis of culturally sensitive material, State and National Registry of historic places, mitigation of human remains, and telecommunication/solar projects. Atlas Archaeology LLC™ meets Secretary of the Interior Qualifications (36 CFR Part 61).
Atlas Archaeology LLC™ follows the ethical and professional standards set forth by: the Register of Professional Archaeologists, Society for American Archaeology, American Anthropological Association, and the 1995 NYAC Standards adopted by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).
